After some painful hours, Borogoves has moved here.

If you are still using Vox as a blogging platform, you should consider that SixApart does not provide (and does not intend to provide) a way for you to migrate your blog posts from Vox. All the top four free blogging services provide a way to export a blog.

Vox started with a lot of great features:

  • ad-supported so that it stays free
  • hooks into content that stimulates content generation
  • strong community features
  • simple permissions model
  • easy-to-use, attractive interface
  • active marketplace for themes
But the lock-in, combined with the lack of any enhancements in the last two years has caused me to move on.
